Delighted to report a successful match at
Muirfield against a formidable team from the Senior Golfers’ Society. We
followed up last year's success with an away win by 3.5 to 2.5.
Perfect sunny conditions with a stiff breeze from
SW, superb course, with lush penal rough, and as always a superb lunch and
hospitality. It’s always a
challenge to play Muirfield after an excellent lunch, but we scraped through somehow….
Many thanks to James MacFarlane for guiding
his team to victory at such a prestigious venue. Well done also to the team for playing so well.
