Match 28 - Royal Burgess, Home (RESULT)

 Blairgowrie 5-3 Royal Burgess

The day started gray overcast and drizzly, but it cleared up with sunshine to complete the rounds.  It’s always a pleasure to host this match against Royal Burgess, although there were some close matches Blairgowrie won 5-3.  So after our 4-4 draw, away in June our aggregate score for the year was 9-7 winning the Cochrane Rosebowl.   However, as Royal Burgess are the current holders, and hadn’t brought it with them, there was no presentation of this prestigious trophy.

Well done to Captain Tom Watson and the Team for this excellent result.

Arrive at Western Gailes for 11:30am for coffee & Roll.

Unfortunately, this away match on 6th September 

has been cancelled.

This is due to an administrative booking error at the Ladybank GC end 

which is most unfortunate.  
We did try to rearrange the match but it proved too problematic.
